How It Works – Cheap Shutters Step-by-Step Process

Steps 1-4 Measure, Record your measurements, Get your price, Accept the estimate – once you have completed the “4 Simple Steps” the rest is up to us.

Step 5 A Cheap Shutters Team Member will contact you to organise the final measure.
Step 6 The final measure, one of our expert technicians will visit your jobsite to conduct a final measure. At this time we will go through any options and highlight any changes or recommendations.
Step 7 Based on the final measure we will send you a formal quote, this quote will take into account any changes in measurement or addition of any options.
Step 8 Accept the formal quote.
Step 9 When your shutters are ready for installation one of the Cheap Shutters Team will be in contact with you to organise the installation.
Step 10 This is installation day. One of our expert technicians will install your shutters.

Deposit 10% This is a refundable deposit, should we do the final measure and you decide not to proceed then there is a $40 charge made against the deposit, the remainder will be refunded.
Progress Payment Once you accept the formal quote the progress payment of 40% will need to be made. This happens at Step 8.
Final Payment The final 50% payment is due two days prior to installation and the receipt of this payment will confirm your installation appointment. This happens at Step 9.

Usual time-frame Our Rule of thumb is from 6-8 weeks from the time the progress payment is made until we install your shutters.
Additional items Such as SupaTilt & frame cut-outs will add an extra 2 weeks to this timing.
National and Public Holidays At certain times of the year there are delays or cut-off deadlines that will add delays we will provide notification of these times before you place your order.
Shipping, Customs and Boarder Control At Cheap Shutters we do our best to provide our customers with realistic timeframes. Occasionally there are things that are completely out of our control that cause additional delivery delays. Should your order be effected by one of these we will advise you as soon as we are aware of the delay.
