At Cheap Shutters, we offer two exceptional ranges of plantation shutter products to suit your needs: our Basic Range and our Premium Range. Each collection is designed to provide quality, functionality, and style, ensuring you find the perfect fit for your home.

When thinking about how many shutter panels you want in each window or door it is important to remember that shutters have a maximum width of 900mm, this applies to both ranges of plantation shutter products. You are not able to exceed this width. Whilst it is possible to make shutters wider than they are tall we do not recommend it as this leads to a harder life for your shutters and the additional sag warranty is not available on shutters with this design.

We aim to install your shutters in as little as 6-8 weeks as a rule of thumb. Occasionally we encounter a shipping delay or delays for national or public holidays but we will notify you of these delays.

Basic Range

Our Budget Range is the cheaper of the products it is a fantastic option for those seeking quality at an affordable price. Key features include:

  • Colour: Available exclusively in white, the colour is very close to Dulux Lexicon ¼ strength.
  • Frame Types: 2 Frame choices from a reveal fit Bullnose Z Frame or a Face Fit L Frame for hinged installation.
  • Installation Options: Available in hinged, fixed, bifold, and sliding installations **bifold and sliding installations incur additional costs.
  • Control Type: Features an external control known as Clearview, connecting the shutters on the back edge of the blade.
  • Blade Movement: Offers blade closure in the upward direction when viewed from the inside, with a limited range of movement of approximately 165 degrees.
  • Frame Cut-Outs: Sometimes it is necessary to create additional space for a window winder or locking mechanism, see our Frame Cut-out section.

Premium Range

For those looking for more customisation and versatility, our Premium Range is a more expensive option but provides a superior selection (* the above is pictured with the SupaTilt control):

  • Colour: A broader selection of white and off white colours
  • Blade Sizes: 63, 76, 89, 114 (Elliptical) – Panels with 89mm blades have the widest width capability.
  • Frame Options: 5 standard frame choices, 3 Z-Frame profiles, Reveal Fit L-Frame, Face Fit L-Frame
  • Specialty Frames **Specialty frames are an extra cost option ask us about this.
  • Installation Options: Available in hinged, fixed, bifold, and sliding installations **bifold and sliding installations incur additional costs.
  • 2 Stile Sizes: The standard 51mm width as well as 40mm as an no cost option for shutter panels less than 500mm width.
  • Control Options: The standard “Clear-view” external control. For those that are after a sleek, unobtrusive look the optional concealed SupaTilt control **SupaTilt is an extra cost option (note SupaTilt will incur additional manufacture time and result in an additional 2 weeks supply time).
  • Bay / Corner Window Suitable: An integrated Bay / Corner Window Post is available. 135 degree bay window post or 90 degree corner window post **Bay / Corner Window Post is an extra cost option.
  • Blade Movement: Offers blade closure in both upward and downward directions when viewed from the inside, allowing for greater flexibility, ventilation and light control.
  • Frame Cut-Outs: Sometimes it is necessary to create additional space for a window winder or locking mechanism, see our Frame Cut-out section.
